May: A Joyful Month in Dubai

In the 5th month of the year, the city is prepared to open its magic box to attract tourists.
The Dubai World Trade Centre hosts 15 trade shows and conferences targeting all sectors, such as aviation, travel and tourism, hospitality, investment and consumer products. The active involvement of global and regional companies marks the strengthening of Dubai’s economy. The city serves as a nozzle point for drawing businesses in the Middle East and adjacent regions.
Starting with Arabian Travel Market, which is termed as the emirate's first emerging markets' Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) event focused to enhance travel and tourism exhibitions, it will have 250 exhibitors from 90 countries. The 1-3 May is aligned with events such as Professional Audio and Lighting Middle East (PALME) Exhibition, Middle East Event Show 2012, Dubai International Property and Investment Exhibition & Conference and the Annual Investment Meeting (AIM).
Vision-X Dubai, Arabia Shop and Hardware & Tools Middle East take place from 8-10 May. Tetra World Congress, the Office Exhibition and the Hotel Show are scheduled from 15 - 17 May. The Airport Show and Automechanika are held from 22-24 May, while Beauty World Middle East, India Sourcing Fair and China Sourcing Fair are organised from 29-31 May.
