Most Exciting Projects Coming up in Dubai
The ever-surprising city of Dubai keeps on adding different types of attractions all the time. Whether it is the tallest building in the world, manmade island or the grandest hotel. Here is a list of some of the most awaited projects that are set to unfold in Dubai.
1) Museum of the Future -The Museum of Future is a project undertaken by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, who is the Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and also the Ruler of Dubai. The museum is set to open to the public in December 2018 and will show the world how technology can change us and the earth in the future.
2) Aladdin City - The city of Dubai will soon be home to a place which has been constructed based on the legends of Arabian folktale heroes Aladdin and Sindbad. This ambitious project was announced in 2014 and the construction started in 2016. The structure will have six towers well-connected by walkways. The towers will be made to resemble the lamp of Alladin from which he finds the genie. The entire structure will be painted in gold, shimmering in the sunlight.
3) Dubai Water Canal - The Dubai Water Canal is a majestic project that will comprise of a shopping centre, 450 restaurants, 4 hotels, luxury houses and also numerous walkways. The entire project covers the area of approximately 80,000 square meters and is expected to get completed in 2016-2017. The project starts from the Business Bay into the Persian Gulf and extends through Safa Park and the Jumeirah.
