People will be seeking ways to delineate workspaces from the rest of the home for privacy and silence. In homes where separate spaces aren't available, residents will use privacy screens. Carpets, furniture, accessories, and noise-cancelling paint or boards will be used to minimize noise. Matte and textured surfaces will be a staple in home workspaces because it holds the light and draws the eye, both of which improve focus. The design of home office spaces is taking a priority in 2021 as people create permanent work areas.
