The ninth month of the Islamic calendar and the month when the Quran was revealed is known as Ramadan. All over the world, Muslims celebrate this as a month of fasting from sunrise to sunset. Every day before sunrise, Muslims take Suhoor as a morning meal,  the evening meal after sunset is called Iftar.
